Throughout 17 rounds of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, we saw one rider atop the Toyota Power Rankings on a weekly basis after battling the first two weeks with James Stewart. That rider went on to win the championship pretty decisively last Saturday night, so it comes to no surprise to find Chad Reed on top of our final standings. The runner-up in the series, Kevin Windham, finishes up in second, and after an inspired performance in the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Lites Shootout, Ryan Dungey moves up six positions to claim third overall in our final poll—making him the top Lites rider in our top 25.

The biggest move upward in our final poll came from MDK KTM's Nick Wey, who shot up ten positions to 14th, after tying his season-best finish with a sixth in Las Vegas. Brett Metcalfe moved up nine spots to 16th, and new to the top 25 is Atomic Racing's Paul Carpenter, who also won the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Top Privateer Award, raking in $25,000 for his efforts. The last rider clinging on to a spot in our top 25 is Travis Preston, who is looking for a ride for the AMA Toyota Motocross Championships.
That about does it for the Toyota Power Rankings for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross tour, but we'll be back for the AMA Toyota Motocross Championships, too. Stay tuned to Racer X Online to see how your favorite rider ranks.
